Friday night...we always look foward to arrive friday, so we can have fun after the hard wk. But sometimes we end up sleeping early on friday night or having a beer by ourselves. I guess doing nothing, sometimes, is part of our lives and it's not that bad after all.

hmmmm.... where were you headed to anyway? a place with a spetacular view near where you work. few places do come to mind.....we should have taken you out on a major scenic spots that night so you can get around easier. if you don't mind bringing your running shoes and walking around 3 miles....i can guide you on a scenic walk after work. by the way, that is what i was doing when you text msgd about air.ex.base station. i could have killed 4 rabitts with one stone, gone for my 4 mile walk, given you a tour on foot at the same time, gone to a popular artsy market to look for more gifts to japan.... (called in sick to work, but one can never be too sick to miss a walk). the weather is going to get miserable here on.... if you don't mind being drenched somewhat. let me know if you want to take up on my offer..

lastly, why don't you try netflix? it gets mailed to you. you make a list of what you want to rent, the fee is based on how many dvds you want to rent at the same time. something like that. i have not tried it myself but i get free trial stuff all the time. i used to do blockbusters few years ago. but now i do hollywood video. because the great thing about hollywood is that, at the time you sign on, you get half-off on new dvd release duration of one month. i did that for one month, rented out all the new releases. got my fix. we have not rented any dvds at all since the one month was over. we don't rent dvds in the summer. we try to stay outdoors in the summer as much as possible. if you don't mind being a third wheel. we tend to do thing at the last minute.....so if you are a planner, you may be a bit annoyed by our doing stuff on a whim. we stopped by scarecrow. it is just up the street. people drive all the way from the eastside/northside/southside to rent pretty obsecure movie titles from all over the world. it would be nicie if you had a region free dvd player. call us anytime. you have our number! you are not alone. we are your friends. :-)

hmm.. i was wondering if there is much better way to see movies at home. blockuster is the one i used to use so many years ago... tried itunes once but it seemed not to have so many movies yet. i will look up netfix. Thanks!

Well, that scenic spot is a hard place to find even for locals. So don't feel too bad. People get lost all the time looking for that place. Awesome view of Space Needle, and New Year Fireworks. FYI-know as 'one of best spots to kiss in Seattle!'

Welcome to Seattle! Prepare for the rain! If you don't own a Gore-Tex material jacket or other high-tech jacket, you would need one. Next few days will be really wet. It is going to be like this for awhile. Not much snow in the winter. Just rain, rain, rain and more rain.

BTW, We don't download movies from itunes at all...So we don't know. We go to movie theaters for new releases. Only really good ones though. You should sign up for Fandango to reserve and purchase hot new movie releases at theaters. BTW, Netflix mails you. You return the watched movie in the mailbox. That is it.
